حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

كُنْتُ أَنَا وَالْفَضْلُ عَلَى أَتَانٍ، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بِعَرَفَةَ، فَمَرَرْنَا عَلَى بَعْضِ الصَّفِّ، فَنَزَلْنَا عَنْهَا، وَتَرَكْنَاهَا تَرْتَعُ فِي الصَّفِّ، فَلَمْ يَقُلْ لَنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ شَيْئًا

Translation

✧ I and al-Fadl were on a donkey, and the Messenger of God ﷺ was praying at 'Arafah. We passed by part of the row, so we dismounted from it and left it browsing in the row, and the Prophet ﷺ did not say anything to us.
