حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

اسْتَفْتَى سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ تُوُفِّيَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقْضِيَهُ، فَقَالَ: اقْضِهِ عَنْهَا

Translation

✧ Sa'd b. 'Ubadah asked the Messenger of God ﷺ about a vow that was upon his mother, who had died before fulfilling it, so he said: Fulfill it on her behalf.
