✧ When the Prophet ﷺ left Makkah, 'Ali took out the daughter of Hamzah, and 'Ali, Zayd, and Ja'far disputed about her. 'Ali said: She is the daughter of my brother and I am more entitled to her. Ja'far said: She is the daughter of my paternal uncle and her maternal aunt is with me. Zayd said: She is the daughter of my brother for Hamzah; the Messenger of God ﷺ had made them brothers. So the Messenger of God ﷺ said: O Zayd, you are my client and their client. And he said to 'Ali: You are my brother and my companion. And he said to Ja'far: You resemble my physical form and my character. And she goes to her maternal aunt.
