✧ When the Prophet ﷺ left Makkah, Ali brought out the daughter of Hamzah. Ali, Ja'far, and Zayd disputed about her before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Ali said: She is the daughter of my paternal uncle, and I brought her out. Ja'far said: She is the daughter of my paternal uncle, and her maternal aunt is married to me. Zayd said: She is the daughter of my brother, for Zayd was a brother of Hamzah; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had made them brothers. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Zayd: You are my mawla and her mawla. He said to Ali: You are my brother and companion. He said to Ja'far: You resemble me in appearance and character. And she is to go to her maternal aunt.
