حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:

لَمَّا لَقِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ النُّقَبَاءَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ قَالَ لَهُمْ: تُؤْوُنِي وَتَمْنَعُونِي، قَالُوا: فَمَا لَنَا ؟ قَالَ: لَكُمُ الْجَنَّةُ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. Muʿāwiyah b. Hishām
  3. Sufyān
  4. Dāwud
  5. ʿĀmir
  6. Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ met the naqibs from the Ansar, he said to them: 'You will shelter me and protect me.' They said: 'And what will we get?' He said: 'You will have Paradise.'
