✧ When a man goes to his bed, an angel and a devil race to him. The angel says: 'Seal with good,' and the devil says: 'Seal with evil.' If he remembers Allah then sleeps, the angel spends the night guarding him. When he wakes, the angel says: 'Begin with good,' and the devil says: 'Begin with evil.' If he says: 'Praise be to Allah who restored my soul to me and did not cause it to die in its sleep; praise be to Allah who holds the heavens and the earth lest they cease'—to the end of the verse—'praise be to Allah who holds the heaven lest it fall upon the earth except by His permission,' then if he falls from his bed and dies, he enters Paradise.
