✧ When a man retires to his bed, an angel and a devil come to him. The angel says: 'Seal with good,' and the devil says: 'Seal with evil.' If he remembers Allah and then sleeps, the angels spend the night guarding him. If he wakes up, the angel says: 'Open with good,' and the devil says: 'Open with evil.' Then if he says: 'Praise be to Allah who returned my soul to me and did not cause it to die in its sleep. Praise be to Allah who holds the heavens and the earth lest they cease to exist'—until the end of the verse—'Praise be to Allah who holds the heaven lest it fall upon the earth except by His permission,' then if he falls from his bed and dies, he will enter Paradise.
