حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ قَالَ:

إِنَّ الْحَلَالَ بَيِّنٌ وَالْحَرَامَ بَيِّنٌ، وَبَيْنَهُمَا شُبُهَاتٌ، مَنْ تَوَقَّاهُنَّ كُنَّ وِقَاءً لِدِينِهِ، وَمَنْ يُوقَعُ فِيهِنَّ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يُوَاقِعَ الْكَبَائِرَ كَالْمُرْتِعِ حَوْلَ الْحِمَى يُوشِكُ أَنْ يُوَاقِعَهُ، لِكُلِّ مَلِكٍ حِمًى

Translation

✧ Indeed, the lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters. Whoever guards against them safeguards his religion, and whoever falls into them is likely to fall into major sins, like a shepherd grazing around a sanctuary who is likely to graze in it. Every king has a sanctuary.
