✧ The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are matters that are doubtful. Whoever abandons what is doubtful to him of sin or of the matter, then he is more likely to abandon what is clear to him; and whoever dares upon what he doubts is on the verge of falling into what is clear. And whoever grazes around the sanctuary is on the verge of falling into it.
