Musnad al-Bazzar 3270

أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ؓ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

" حَلَالٌ بَيِّنٌ وَحَرَامٌ بَيِّنٌ وَأُمُورٌ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ، فَمَنْ تَرَكَ الشُّبُهَاتِ كَانَ لِمَا اسْتَبَانَ لَهُ أَتْرَكَ

Translation

  5. al-Nuʿmān b. Bashīr
  6. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and there are matters that are ambiguous. Whoever avoids the ambiguous matters, he is more likely to avoid what is clear to him.
