حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:

فَرَضَ عُمَرُ لِأُسَامَةَ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا فَرَضَ لِي، فَقُلْتُ: إِنَّمَا هِجْرَتِي وَهِجْرَةُ أُسَامَةَ وَاحِدَةٌ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَبَاهُ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ أَبِيكَ، وَإِنَّهُ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْكَ، وَإِنَّمَا هَاجَرَ بِكَ أَبَوَاكَ

Translation

✧ Umar allotted Usama more than he allotted me. I said: 'My emigration and Usama's emigration are the same.' He said: 'His father was dearer to the Messenger of God ﷺ than your father, and he was dearer to the Messenger of God ﷺ than you. Your parents brought you on the emigration.'
