✧ Four things in my community from the affairs of the pre-Islamic era that they will not abandon: boasting about ancestors, slandering lineages, seeking rain by the stars, and wailing. And he said: The wailing woman, if she does not repent before her death, will be made to stand on the Day of Resurrection wearing a garment of tar and a coat of scabies.

machine translationYaḥyā b. Abī Kathīr narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abān al-ʿAṭṭār and ʿAlī b. al-Mubārak narrated it from Yaḥyā, from Zayd b. Sallām, from Abū Sallām, from Abū Mālik. Maʿmar differed from them and narrated it from Yaḥyā, from Ibn Muʿāniq or Abū Muʿāniq, from Abū Mālik al-Ashʿarī. The hadith of Abū Sallām is closer to the correct one.
