حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَازِمٍ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ الْبَتَّةَ، فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: مَا أَرَدْتَ بِهَا ؟ قَالَ: وَاحِدَةً، قَالَ: آللهِ ؟ قَالَ: آللهِ، قَالَ: هِيَ عَلَى مَا أَرَدْتَ

Translation

✧ that he divorced his wife with an irrevocable divorce, so he came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: "What did you intend by it?" He said: "One (divorce)." He said: "By Allah?" He said: "By Allah." He said: "It is according to what you intended."
