Musnad Abi Ya'la 1538

حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ الْبَتَّةَ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَأَخْبَرَهُ، فَقَالَ: مَا نَوَيْتَ بِذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ: وَاحِدَةً، قَالَ: آللهِ ؟ قَالَ: آللهِ، قَالَ: هِيَ عَلَى مَا أَرَدْتَ

Translation

✧ that he divorced his wife with an irrevocable divorce during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, so he came to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him, and he said: "What did you intend by that?" He said: "One (divorce)." He said: "By Allah?" He said: "By Allah." He said: "It is according to what you intended."
