✧ When the sun declined, Umar ascended the pulpit and the muezzins called the adhan. He delivered a sermon, praised God and extolled Him, and said in his sermon: Stoning is a true punishment for the married person when there is clear evidence, pregnancy, or confession. The Messenger of God ﷺ stoned, and we stoned with him and after him.
