حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ، وَالْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ الْحَدَثَانِ. سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

الذَّهَبُ بِالْوَرِقِ رِبًا، إِلَّا هَاءَ وَهَاءَ، وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ رِبًا إِلَّا هَاءَ وَهَاءَ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ إِسْحَاقَ: وَالتَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ رِبًا إِلَّا هَاءَ وَهَاءَ

✧ Gold for silver is usury, except hand to hand. Barley for barley is usury, except hand to hand. And in Ishaq's version: dates for dates is usury, except hand to hand.
