حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْمَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ أَبُو طَالِبٍ، فَقَالَ: لَعَلَّهُ أَنْ تَنْفَعَهُ شَفَاعَتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُجْعَلَ فِي ضَحْضَاحٍ مِنَ النَّارِ إِلَى كَعْبَيْهِ يَغْلِي مِنْهُ أُمُّ دِمَاغِهِ

✧ That he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when Abu Talib was mentioned in his presence, and he said: Perhaps my intercession will benefit him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be placed in a shallow part of the Fire reaching to his ankles, from which his brain will boil.
