حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

" يَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ يَغْشَاهُمْ غَوَاشٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ - أَوْ قَالَ: حَوَاشِي - قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: فَيَظْلِمُونَ وَيَكْذِبُونَ، فَمَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ، وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي، وَلَا أَنَا مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ، وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ

✧ "There will be rulers whom multitudes of people—or he said: crowds—will surround. Shu'ba said: I think he said: They will oppress and lie. Whoever confirms them in their lies and helps them in their oppression is not from me, nor am I from him. And whoever does not confirm them in their lies and does not help them in their oppression, he is from me and I am from him."
