✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to Ka'b b. 'Ujrah: May Allah protect you from the rule of the foolish. He said: And what is the rule of the foolish? He said: Rulers who will come after me, who will not follow my guidance and will not practice my Sunnah. Whoever believes them in their lies and helps them in their oppression—those are not of me, and I am not of them, and they will not come to my Pond. But whoever does not believe them in their lies and does not help them in their oppression—those are of me, and I am of them, and they will come to my Pond. O Ka'b b. 'Ujrah, fasting is a shield, charity extinguishes sin, and prayer is a means of nearness—or he said: a proof—. O Ka'b b. 'Ujrah, no flesh that grew from unlawful earnings will enter Paradise; the Fire is more deserving of it. O Ka'b b. 'Ujrah, people set out in two directions: one who buys his own soul and sets it free, and one who sells his own soul and destroys it.
