حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ:
كَانَ بَيْنَ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ شَيْءٌ، فَسَبَّهُ خَالِدٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: لَا تَسُبُّوا أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِي، فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَوْ أَنْفَقَ مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ مَا أَدْرَكَ مُدَّ أَحَدِهِمْ وَلَا نَصِيفَهُ

✧ There was something between Khalid b. al-Walid and 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf, and Khalid insulted him. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Do not insult any of my companions, for if one of you were to spend the like of Uhud, he would not reach the mudd of one of them, nor half of it."
