حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ قَالَ: أُرَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

" يَا أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ، لَا تَأْكُلُوا لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ. قَالَ: فَشَكَوْا إِلَيْهِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ عِيَالًا وَخَدَمًا، فَقَالَ: " كُلُوا وَأَطْعِمُوا وَاحْتَبِسُوا

Translation

✧ O people of Madinah, do not eat the meat of sacrificial animals beyond three days. They complained to him that they had families and servants, so he said: "Eat, feed others, and store."
