Musnad Abi Ya'la 1051

Translation

✧ We were at the house of the Prophet ﷺ among a group of the Muhajirun and Ansar. He came out to us and said: "Shall I tell you about the best of you?" They said: Yes. He said: "The best of you are those who fulfill their promises and are good and pure. God loves the hidden, pious one." He said: Then Ali b. Abi Talib passed by, and he said: "Truth is with this one, truth is with this one."
