✧ Men and Women Performing Tawaf Together

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ
قَالَتْ: أَرْسَلْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَوْ شَكَوْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنِّي أَشْتَكِي، قَالَ: فَطُوفِي مِنْ وَرَاءِ النَّاسِ وَأَنْتِ رَاكِبَةٌ قَالَتْ: طُفْتُ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ فِي جَنْبِ الْبَيْتِ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ بِـ: ﴿وَالطُّورِ ﴾﴿وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ ﴾
Translation
✧ She said: I sent to the Prophet ﷺ, or I complained to the Prophet ﷺ, that I was ill. He said: "Perform tawaf behind the people while riding." She said: I performed tawaf while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was leading the people in prayer beside the House, and he was reciting: "By the Mount, and by a Book inscribed."
