✧ Wiping Over Bandages and Wounds

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَى دُمَّلٍ فِي ذِرَاعِ رَجُلٍ عِصَابٌ، أَوْ قُرْحَةٍ يَسِيرَةٍ، أَيَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْعِصَابِ أَوْ يَنْزِعُهُ ؟ قَالَ: إِذَا كَانَتْ يَسِيرَةً فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ يَنْزِعَ الْعَصَائِبَ
Translation
✧ I said to 'Ata': "What do you think if there is a bandage on a boil on a man's forearm, or a small ulcer? Should he wipe over the bandage or remove it?" He said: "If it is small, I prefer that he remove the bandages."
