✧ Prayer at the time of fighting with swords

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ لِعَطَاءٍ:
الْمُسْلِمُ يَطْلُبُ الْعَدُوَّ عَلَى أَثَرِهِ فَيُصَلِّي وَهُوَ يَطْلُبُهُ مُدْبِرًا عَنِ الْبَيْتِ قَالَ: " يُصَلِّي عَلَى دَابَّتِهِ كَذَلِكَ ؟ " قَالَ: " لَا، وَلَكِنْ إِذَا كَانَ الْمُسْلِمُ هُوَ يُطْلَبُ وَطَلَبَهُ الْعَدُوُّ فَلْيَقْضِهَا كَذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ A Muslim pursues the enemy in his tracks and prays while pursuing him, turning away from the House. He said: “Does he pray on his mount like that?” He said: “No, but if the Muslim is the one being pursued and the enemy is pursuing him, then let him perform it like that.”
