عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ:
لَا بُدَّ لِلرَّجُلِ الْمُسْلِمِ مِنْ سِتِّ سُوَرٍ يَتَعَلَّمُهُنَّ لِلصَّلَاةِ، سُورَتَيْنِ لِصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، وَسُورَتَيْنِ لِلْمَغْرِبِ، وَسُورَتَيْنِ لِلصَّلَاةِ فِي الْعِشَاءِ
Translation
✧ A Muslim man must learn six surahs for prayer: two surahs for the dawn prayer, two for the sunset prayer, and two for the night prayer.
