عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ،
أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَهُ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي صَلَّيْتُ وَلَمْ أَقْرَأْ، فَقَالَ: " أَتْمَمْتَ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ ؟ " قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " تَمَّتْ صَلَاتُكَ ؟ " قَالَ: نَعَمْ قَالَ: " مَا كُلُّ أَحَدٍ يُحْسِنُ الْقِرَاءَةَ "
Translation
✧ A man came to him and said: "I prayed but did not recite." He said: "Did you complete the bowing and the prostrations?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then your prayer is complete." He said: "Yes." He said: "Not everyone excels at recitation."
