عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ جَوْسٍ الْهِفَّانِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:
صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ الْمَغْرِبَ، فَلَمْ يَقْرَأْ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى بِشَيْءٍ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَسُورَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ
Translation
✧ I prayed the sunset prayer behind Umar b. al-Khattab, and he did not recite anything in the first rak'ah. Then in the second rak'ah he recited the Opening of the Book twice and two surahs. Then he prostrated twice before the salutation.
