✧ The Time of the Late Evening Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ:
أَعْتَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِصَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ لَيْلَةً، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ وَرَأْسُهُ يَقْطُرُ مَاءً، فَقَالَ: لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ لِهَذَا الْوَقْتِ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ once delayed the Isha prayer at night, then came out with his head dripping water and said: Were it not that I would make things difficult for my Ummah, I would have loved to pray this prayer at this time.
