✧ The Time of the Late Evening Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مَكْحُولًا يَقُولُ:
كَانَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ، وَشَدَّادُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ يُصَلِّيَانِ الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ إِذَا ذَهَبَتِ الْحُمْرَةُ. قَالَ مَكْحُولٌ: وَهُوَ الشَّفَقُ
Translation
✧ Ubada b. al-Samit and Shaddad b. Aws used to pray the later Isha when the redness had gone. Makhul said: And that is the twilight.
