✧ The Time of the Late Evening Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بُرْقَانَ قَالَ:
كَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ: أَنْ صَلُّوا صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ إِذَا ذَهَبَ بَيَاضُ الْأُفُقِ، فِيمَا بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ، وَمَا عَجَّلْتُمْ بَعْدَ ذَهَابِ الْأُفُقِ فَهُوَ أَفْضَلُ
Translation
✧ Umar b. Abd al-Aziz wrote: Pray the Isha prayer when the whiteness of the horizon has disappeared, between your time and a third of the night; whatever you hasten after the disappearance of the horizon is better.
