عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ نَافِعُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، وَغَيْرُهُ:
لَمَّا أَصْبَحَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ لَيْلَتِهِ الَّذِي أُسْرِيَ بِهِ فِيهَا لَمْ يَرُعْهُ إِلَّا جَبْرَئِيلُ، فَنَزَلَ حِينَ زَاغَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَلِذَلِكَ سُمِّيَتِ الْأُولَى، قَامَ فَصَاحَ بِأَصْحَابِهِ: الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ، فَاجْتَمَعُوا، فَصَلَّى جَبْرَئِيلُ بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالنَّاسِ طَوَّلَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَصَّرَ الْبَاقِيَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ جَبْرَئِيلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَسَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى النَّاسِ، ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فِي الْعَصْرِ عَلَى مِثْلِهِ، فَفَعَلُوا مِثْلَ مَا فَعَلُوا فِي الظُّهْرِ، ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فِي أَوَّلِ اللَّيْلِ، فَصَاحَ الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ، فَصَلَّى جَبْرَئِيلُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلنَّاسِ طَوَّلَ فِي الْأُولَيَيْنِ، وَقَصَّرَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ جَبْرَئِيلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَسَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى النَّاسِ، ثُمَّ لَمَّا ذَهَبَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ، نَزَلَ فَصَاحَ بِالنَّاسِ: الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ فَاجْتَمَعُوا، فَصَلَّى جَبْرَئِيلُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلنَّاسِ، فَقَرَأَ فِي الْأُولَيَيْنِ فَطَوَّلَ وَجَهَرَ، وَقَصَّرَ فِي الْبَاقِيَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ جَبْرَئِيلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَسَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلنَّاسِ، ثُمَّ لَمَّا طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ، صَبَّحَ جَبْرَئِيلُ......................لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلنَّاسِ، فَقَرَأَ فِيهِمَا فَجَهَرَ وَطَوَّلَ وَرَفَعَ صَوْتَهُ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ جَبْرَئِيلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَسَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلنَّاسِ.
Translation
✧ When the Prophet ﷺ awoke from the night in which he was taken on the Night Journey, nothing startled him except Gabriel. He descended when the sun had declined — for that reason it was called the first. He stood and called to his companions: Prayer in congregation! So they gathered, and Gabriel prayed with the Prophet ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with the people. He lengthened the first two rak‘ahs, then shortened the remaining two. Then Gabriel greeted the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ greeted the people. Then he descended for Asr likewise, and they did the same as they had done for Zuhr. Then he descended at the beginning of the night and called out: Prayer in congregation! So Gabriel prayed with the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed with the people. He lengthened the first two and shortened the third. Then Gabriel greeted the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ greeted the people. Then when a third of the night had passed, he descended and called to the people: Prayer in congregation! So they gathered, and Gabriel prayed with the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed with the people. He recited in the first two and lengthened and recited aloud, and shortened the remaining two. Then Gabriel greeted the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ greeted the people. Then when dawn rose, Gabriel came in the morning...................... with the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed with the people. He recited in them and recited aloud, lengthened and raised his voice. Then Gabriel greeted the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ greeted the people.
