عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ، ذُو الضَّفِيرَتَيْنِ أَيَبُلُّ ضَفِيرَتَيْهِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا. وَلَكِنْ أُصُولُ الشَّعَرِ فَرْوَةُ الرَّأْسِ وَبَشَرَتُهُ قَطُّ، وَلَكِنْ يُفِيضُ الْمَاءَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ فَمَا أَصَابَ ضَفِيرَتَيْهِ أَصَابَهُمَا وَمَا أَخْطَأَهُمَا فَلَا بَأْسَ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: Should a man with two braids wet his braids? He said: No. But the roots of the hair are the scalp and the skin of the head. However, he should pour water over his head; whatever touches the braids touches them, and what misses them is of no harm.
