عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ:
أَنَّهُ أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ غُسْلِ الْجَنَابَةِ كَيْفَ يَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ ؟ فَقَالَ جَابِرٌ: أَمَّا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ يَحْثِي عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثًا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ: إِنَّ شَعَرِي كَثِيرٌ، قَالَ جَابِرٌ: شَعَرُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَكْثَرُ وَأَطْيَبُ مِنْ شَعَرِكَ
Translation
✧ A man came to Jābir and asked him about the ghusl of janābah, how to wash his head. Jābir said: 'As for the Messenger of God ﷺ, he used to scoop three handfuls of water over his head.' The man said: 'My hair is abundant.' Jābir said: 'The hair of the Messenger of God ﷺ was more abundant and better than your hair.'
