عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ يُقَالُ: يَغْرِفُ الرَّجُلُ ذُو الْجُمَّةِ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثَ غَرَفَاتٍ، ثُمَّ يُشَرِّبُ الْمَاءَ أُصُولَ الشَّعَرِ مَعَ كُلِّ غَرْفَةٍ
Translation
✧ It used to be said: A man with long, thick hair should scoop three handfuls of water over his head, and then let the water soak into the roots of the hair with each handful.
