حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

    وخالفه وكيع وغيره فرووه عن عبد الرحمن بن حبيب عن الشعبي مرسلا وهو الصحيح عن عبد الله بن حبيب

    machine translationWakīʿ and others contradicted him, and narrated it from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Ḥabīb, from al-Shaʿbī, as a mursal report (mursal), and this is the sound (ṣaḥīḥ) version from ʿAbdullāh b. Ḥabīb.
