Regarding Surat al-Waaqi'ah

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي قَوْلِهِ ( وفُرُشٍ مَرْفُوعَةٍ ) قَالَ ارْتِفَاعُهَا كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَسِيرَةُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا خَمْسُمِائَةِ عَامٍ

Translation

from the Prophet – regarding Allah’s saying ‘And on couches raised high – he said: “Their height is as what is between the heavens and the earth, and the distance between the two of them is five hundred years.”
