  • al-Tirmidhi

machine translationThis is a good and sound (ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ) hadith.

    in جامع الترمذي, p. 3253
  • Ibn Ḥazm

machine translationThe sound report of Kaʿb b. ʿUjrah is what Ibn Abī Laylā narrated, while the narrations of the others are unsettled (muḍṭarib) and mistaken. It is therefore obligatory to abandon what is unsettled in it and to return to the narration of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, which is not unsettled.

    in جامع الترمذي, p. 3253
