machine translationAl-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī al-Khallāl al-Ḥulwānī narrated to us, Yazīd b. Hārūn narrated to us, from Zayd b. Ḥubāb, from Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlāʾ, similarly. Abū ʿĪsā said: This hadith is strange (gharīb). It has been narrated in this way from ʿAlī, and al-Shāfiʿī, Aḥmad and Isḥāq hold to it; they consider this permissible in both the obligatory prayer and the voluntary prayer. Some of them narrated this hadith from Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlāʾ as a mursal report.
