What Has Been Related About The Number Of Companions Who Participated In The Battle Of Badr

حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الْكُوفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ

أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ بَدْرٍ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ كَعِدَّةِ أَصْحَابِ طَالُوتَ ثَلاَثِمِائَةٍ وَثَلاَثَةَ عَشَرَ رَجُلاً قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

Translation

Chain of narrators

"We used to say that the participants of Badr on the Day of Badr were like the number of companions of Talut, three hundred and thirteen men." [He said:] There is something on this topic from Ibn 'Abbas.
