✧ 'A group of my nation will certainly descend upon a land called al-Basra, and their number and palm trees will increase there. Then Banu Qantura' will come, broad-faced, small-eyed, until they descend upon a bridge of theirs called Dijla. The Muslims will split into three factions: as for one faction, they will take hold of the tails of camels and join the desert, and they will perish; as for another faction, they will take their own souls and disbelieve, so this one and that one are equal; as for another faction, they will place their families behind their backs and fight, and their slain are martyrs, and God, Mighty and Majestic, will grant victory to the rest of them.'
