حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
" نَضَّرَ اللهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا حَفِظَهُ حَتَّى يُبَلِّغَهُ، فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ، وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيْسَ بِفَقِيهٍ

✧ "May God brighten a person who hears from us a hadith and memorizes it until he conveys it. For perhaps a bearer of understanding carries it to one who has more understanding than him, and perhaps a bearer of understanding is not himself a faqih."
