حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ الضَّبِّيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ:
تَسَابَّ رَجُلَانِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَغَضِبَ أَحَدُهُمَا حَتَّى تَمَزَّعَ أَنْفُهُ مِنَ الْغَضَبِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَمَا إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ كَلِمَةً لَوْ قَالَهَا لَذَهَبَ غَضَبُهُ: أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

✧ Two men insulted each other in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, and one of them became so angry that his nose seemed to split from anger. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, I know a word which, if he were to say it, his anger would depart: I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the accursed."
