حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَدِيِّ بْنِ الْخِيَارِ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْخَيْرِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

" مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَادَّهَنَ مِنْ دُهْنِهِ، وَتَطَيَّبَ مِنْ طِيبِ بَيْتِهِ، ثُمَّ أَتَى الْجُمُعَةَ، فَلَمْ يُفَرِّقْ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ، فَصَلَّى، فَإِذَا تَكَلَّمَ الْإِمَامُ اسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ الْأُخْرَى

Translation

✧ Whoever bathes on Friday, anoints himself with his oil, perfumes himself from the perfume of his house, then comes to the Friday prayer and does not separate two people, then prays, and when the imam speaks, listens and is silent, he will be forgiven what is between him and the next Friday.
