حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ، عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الطَّائِفِيِّ، عَنْ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ، قَالَ:

" قَدِمْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي وَفْدِ ثَقِيفَ فَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ نِصْفَ شَهْرٍ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ

Translation

✧ We came to the Prophet ﷺ in the delegation of Thaqif and stayed with him for half a month. I saw him turn to his right and to his left (after prayer).
