al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 597

✧ The Magnification of the Statement "There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah".

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخَثْعَمِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الطَّائِفِيِّ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ

«أَقَمْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ نِصْفَ شَهْرٍ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي وَعَلَيْهِ نِعَالَانِ مُقَابِلَتَانِ وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَبْزُقُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ»

✧ I stayed with the Prophet ﷺ for half a month and saw him praying while wearing two unlined sandals, and I saw him spit to his right and to his left.
