حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَاصِمَ بْنَ ضَمْرَةَ السَّلُولِيَّ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ، يَقُولُ:
" مِنْ كُلِّ اللَّيْلِ أَوْتَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ; مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ، وَأَوْسَطِهِ، وَآخِرِهِ، فَانْتَهَى وِتْرُهُ إِلَى السَّحَرِ
