حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ بَعْجَةَ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ، قَالَ:

قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الضَّحَايَا بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ فَصَارَتْ لِي جَذَعَةٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: ضَحِّ بِهَا

Translation

  5. ʿUqbah b. ʿĀmir al-Juhanī

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed sacrificial animals among his Companions, and I got a jadha'ah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Sacrifice it.'
