حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ لِبَعْضٍ أَزِيدَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ؟ قَالَ «وَمَا ذَاكَ؟» قَالَ صَلَّيْتَ خَمْسًا فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَإِذَا حَلْقَةٌ فِيهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ فَقَالَ «حَقًّا مَا يَقُولُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ؟» قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer, then entered [his house]. Some of the people said to others, “Has something been added to the prayer?” He said, “And what is that?” They said, “You prayed five.” So he took him by the hand and went out to the mosque, where there was a circle in which Abu Bakr and Umar were present. He said, “Is what Dhu al-Yadayn says true?” They said, “Yes, O Prophet of Allah.” So he faced the qiblah and prostrated twice.
