حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ إِشْكَابَ ثنا شُجَاعُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الدَّالَانِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الظُّهْرَ أَوِ الْعَصْرَ خَمْسًا فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَزِيدَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ؟ قَالَ «لَا وَمَا ذَاكَ؟» قَالُوا صَلَّيْتَ خَمْسًا فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «هَاتَانِ السَّجْدَتَانِ لِمَنْ ظَنَّ مِنْكُمْ أَنَّهُ زَادَ أَوَ نَقَصَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in Zuhr or ʿAsr prayer with five rakʿahs. They said, “O Messenger of Allah, has something been added to the prayer?” He said, “No, and what is that?” They said, “You prayed five.” So he faced the qiblah and prostrated twice, then said, “These two prostrations are for whoever of you thinks that he added or omitted something.”
